Pattern in the mall ceiling
Rainy Flower
Most of my photos for pattern & texture were natural, besides the first one. The first one was taken of the ceiling at the Emerald Square mall. Again except for the first photo, the rest were all taken really close to the subject. The frames in all my pictures were filled up. In the first picture, the point of view was from below while the second forth fifth and sixth were taken straight on. The third picture was taken at a slight side angle to make the picture different. I did use the gridlines for all of the pictures, but as you can see some of them followed the rule of thirds better than others. For example, in the fuzzy flower picture the left gridline matched up with the left petals. I believe this picture was one of the most dynamic for this assignment, with the fuzzy flower one as well. This picture captured great texture from the rain and filled the whole frame. Also, the fuzzy flower picture was interesting due to the unique angle and you can tell the top part (the orange stigma) is very fuzzy.
